Air fryer salmon with asparagus
Air Fryer Salmon + Asparagus Tips
A quick, simple method to cook both salmon and asparagus tips together in the air fryer.
Ingredients (2 servings)
- 2 salmon fillets (150–200 g each)
- 200 g asparagus tips
- 1–2 tsp olive oil
- Salt + pepper
Optional seasonings
- Lemon juice or slices
- Paprika, garlic powder, chilli flakes
- Butter for finishing
- Fresh herbs (dill, parsley, thyme)
Instructions
1. Prep the salmon
- Pat salmon dry.
- Rub lightly with olive oil.
- Season with salt, pepper, and optional paprika/garlic powder.
- Add lemon slices on top if using.
2. Prep the asparagus
- Toss asparagus in a bowl with a drizzle of olive oil.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Optional: Add minced garlic or a squeeze of lemon.
3. Air fry
- Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F) for 3–4 minutes.
- Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the basket.
- Add the asparagus tips around the salmon.
- Cook 8–10 minutes total.
Tip: Start checking from 8 minutes.
Salmon should flake easily and reach 52–55°C (125–130°F) for medium.
Asparagus should be tender-crisp and bright green.
If salmon needs more time, remove asparagus and cook fish for another 2–4 minutes.
4. Serve
- Finish with a squeeze of lemon or a small pat of butter.
- Add herbs or a crack of fresh pepper.
